Friday 22nd March
6pm - 9pm

As autumn dawns, we are called to slow down, turn inward and embrace the dark, lunar sides of our lives.

Following the cycles of nature we observe nights becoming longer and the days becoming cooler, the perfect time for an indulgent 3 hour extended practice of Yin.

What I resist persists, lean into the edge as we explore and celebrate our fire, while transitioning back toward focusing on our roots.

We will begin by facing the sky as if to catch those last summer rays, opening and letting go of what is holding us stuck before we ground and lengthen – celebrating growth and regeneration. Working with a combination of 3 minute, 6 minute, and 9 minute holds, we shall conclude by surrendering your body to the earth through guided meditation.

Energetically, the season of Autumn calls in a rebalancing of the metal element and strong focus around the Large Intestine Meridian which helps us clear what doesn’t serve us physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Throughout this sequence, you’ll be guided towards drawing attention to your abdominal organs, chest and hips — so consider what you feel called to letting go as another solar year comes to a close. The Large Intestine Meridian’s yang counterpart is the Lung Meridian so we will also explore different rhythms of breath to oxygenate and balance the body.

“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.

When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need.”
