Yoga Flame's Teacher Training is a registered 200 hour Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia Program that is divided up into 6 KEY MODULES which provide the essential tools to become a highly skilled and effective yoga teacher and an even more committed student. Through practical, embodied experience in classes and through lectures, workshops and discussion together we explore;

Byron Bay and Rocklyn Immersions
"Diving Deep"

Yoga Flame 200hr Teacher Training is offered part time over a four month time frame from February to May 2018.  This includes TWO retreats which are an integral part of the training. Set in some of Australia's most beautiful natural environments they are a chance to dive deep in your journey. These retreats are truly the highlight of the training and are one of the reasons that Yoga Flame's Teacher Training is such a worthwhile and enriching experience. Our first retreat is a 7 day intensive at Tallows Beach Houses in Byron Bay in March and our second is a 3 day retreat at Rocklyn Ashram just outside of Daylesford in May

By completing Yoga Flame's Teacher Training you will;

  • Learn five well developed vinyasa yoga sequences to teach with complete knowledge, understanding and skill
  • Be able to effectively communicate with and build a respectful rapport with others
  • Possess a comprehensive and "yoga relevant" anatomy training. This will ensure you have a thorough anatomical understanding allowing you to teach confidently and competently

  • What is the investment for the Teacher Training Course and what does it include?

    $250 Early Bird Discount = $4227

    Full investment after November 15th is $4477 

    To secure your space a $500 non - refundable deposit is required and the balance of the investment must be received no later than January 15th, 2020.

    To qualify for the $250 Early Bird discount full payment must be received by November 15th.

    Any applications after January 15th will require full payment upon approval.

    Your investment in the training includes;

    • Unlimited classes at at the Yoga Flame studio for the duration of the training

  • Are there any other costs?

    The only other costs are transportation to and from the retreats (Byron Bay and Rocklyn) and your text books (four in total) which are widely available for online purchase

  • What if I am interested on the yoga training but don't want to be a teacher?

    No problem - this training is great for committed students who want to learn more about yoga but not necessarily become a teacher.
  • What style of Yoga will I learn to teach?

    This foundational training is based in the Hatha Vinyasa tradition - so will equip you to teach a wide variety of classes. Our trainers have a wide spectrum of study and experience and are inspired by many contemporary yoga styles including Para Yoga, Barkan, Ashtanga, Prana Flow Vinyasa, Anusara and Power Yoga. This inspiration and education has developed into the sequences taught in the classes at Yoga Flame and is what our teacher trainings are based on. These practices can be taught in all studio environments and will be both effective and inspiring.
  • What qualifications does this training give me?

    Our Yoga Teacher Training will certify you as both a 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher and a Provisional member of Yoga Australia - which allows you to teach in yoga studios, gyms, cruise ships, spa's, community centers - anywhere you can imagine! Combined with Yoga Flame's 150 hour Post Graduate training you will receive a 350 hour certification with Yoga Australia.
  • Is there a payment plan available?

    Yes. After you have paid your $500 non refundable deposit you can make monthly payments of $500 until you have fully covered the cost of the training. Please note, full payment must be received by January 15th 2020. If you are on a payment plan and have an outstanding balance as of Jan 15th 2020 you will be required to pay the remaining balance on this date (To take advantage of the $250 early bird discount full payment must be received by November 15th)

    *Please note to take advantage of the payment plan option a $100 surcharge will be added to cover administrative fees and charges.
  • How do I register for the course?

    Please complete the application form at the bottom of this page. Once it is received by our training team we will be in contact regarding your application within 10 days. If your application is succesful a $500 non refundable deposit will hold your space
  • Is there a maximum number of trainees?

    Yes - Spaces are strictly limited. The size of this training will be capped to ensure the quality and integrity of learning. Therefore, we recommend applying as soon as you can to ensure your space and avoid disappointment

    Our Late January - May 2020 Teacher Training will be held at our Moonee Ponds studio with our retreats in Byron Bay and Rocklyn
