One of the more subtle concepts of yoga is Pratyahara. Often referred to as ‘withdrawing from the senses’, Pratyahara can also be seen as the ability to not over-react to external influences.
During this workshop exploration of Pratyahara you’ll be practicing yoga some of the time blindfolded….Yes, no peeping!
It is a basic and safe sequence that, without your sense of sight, will sharpen your focus and take your practice literally to ‘another level’. The group dynamic becomes very centered and still. It is a very special practice that has to be explored to be appreciated.
During the workshop we will discuss the essence of Pratyahara and do some pranayama (breathing) & other exercises that explore and deepen our understanding
