Rachel Zinman brings insight and practices to support you in understanding how the subtle energy system of the chakras can transform your life
Rachel Zinman first discovered the essence of the chakra system in her studies with Ishta Yoga founder Alan Finger in 2000 and has been exploring the asana, breathing and meditation practices that connect to the chakras ever since.
In this workshop you will learn what chakras are, how they influence your every day life and how to recognise when a chakra is working at its optimum. Each session will explore a series of chakras, the associated elements and the poses and practices to bring more awareness to this subtle energy system. This workshop is perfect for all levels.

About Rachel …
Rachel Zinman is absolutely passionate about Yoga and it’s true meaning and message. She first came across Yoga at 17 and has never looked back.
She’s been practising since 1983, teaching since 1992 and teaching teachers since 2000. And has studied with some of the most influential teachers in the west as well as immersing herself in the study and assimilation of the classical system of Knowledge called Vedanta, in the lineage of Adi Shankara.
While living in New York from 2000–2004 Rachel met and mentored with ISHTA yoga founder Alan Finger which led to teaching in his studios for four years. There she co-created and coordinated their Teacher Training Program, becoming a senior facilitator and mentor. Since her return to Australia in 2005, she has gone on to create and facilitate her own teacher trainings and workshops in Australia, India, Bali, Japan, New York and in many major cities in Europe.
Rachel also co-created and produced a popular Australian Yoga Video series with Louisa Sear and a Childrens Yoga Video. She is an award-winning musician for her album of chanting and devotional song, Sita Ram, and has since produced two more CDs with her band the Subway Bhaktis. She is about to release her first book Yoga for Diabetes, How to Manage Your health with Yoga and Ayurveda with Monkfishpublishing for worldwide distribution in October 2017.
Rachel has been a featured presenter on many international festivals including the Bali Spirit Festival, Bhakti Yoga Summer, The Berlin Yoga Festival, The Barcelona Yoga Festival, the Uplift Festival and the Byron Spirit Festival in Byron Bay, Australia.
Her classes are often described as a fluid mix of creative playful sequencing, meaningful insights and lighthearted fun.
