Having practised yoga since 2002, Cecily began teaching in 2007. After completing her training with YogaWorks in the U.S., Cecily went on to study Prana Flow with Shiva Rea, Fluid Vinyasa with Twee Merrigan and Prenatal Yoga with renowned instructor Janice Clarfield. In addition to being a long term fan of the fluid styles of asana, Cecily ensures each class includes a balance of pranayama, relaxation and meditation. ‘A well-rounded practice brings a sense of lightness and joy,’ says Cecily. ‘More importantly, practising these disciplines encourages a deeper exploration of the true essence of yoga; union of the body, mind and spirit.’
Cecily is the mother of two adventurous boys, Cassius and Yves and practised and taught public classes until two weeks before birth with both babies!
